Powerful Quake Shakes Papua New Guinea

A powerful earthquake if magnitude 6.l on the Richter scale shook the northern coast of Papua New Guinea on Thursday. The quake hit about 125 kilometers southeast of the town of Madang, known for its scuba-diving facilities and resorts. There are no reports of victims. Local authorities claimed that Madang residents did not feel the quake too strongly, and there were no material damages
