The winners swept the prestigious award in hot rivalry with Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and music guru Ivo Papazov.

The other winner, the mayor of Kavarna Tsonko Tsonev, managed to turn the small town into the rock and roll center of the Balkans in the summer of 2005 after attracting rock legends like Deep Purple, Saxxon, Ronnie James Dio, Scorpions, Accept, Destruction.

The official awarding ceremony was held Saturday night at the Military Club in Sofia.
