The Sofia Kempinski Zografski Hotel welcomed special guests from all over the world at the opening of the charity Christmas bazaar on Sunday.

The bazaar was organised for the eleventh year by ladies in the International Women's Club Sofia and aims to help the socially disadvantaged people in Bulgaria. It was inaugurated by Euro-integration Minister Meglena Kuneva and the head of the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company (BTC) Dennis Wallach.

Diplomats from 43 countries presented items of their traditional cuisine, music and books on the bazaar.

Things, made personally by the club's ladies were also among the goods offered.

The International Women's Club Sofia was founded in 1989 by female representatives of diplomatic and business missions. The charity organization numbers over 230 members from all over the world and implements a number of charity projects in Bulgaria, making donations to associations of disabled people and children and social care institutions.
