Primary and High school students in Bulgaria competed in a contest asking them to create a violence-free computer game on Thursday.
The competition, called "A game with your idea", was held in the eve of the World's Day of the Child, that marks the adoption of UN's convention for children rights.
The National Agency for Child Protection, Ronald McDonald Bulgaria's charity foundation, the Bulgarian Web Association, dir.bg and az-deteto.com joined efforts to organize the event.
Children were divided into three age groups - from first to fourth grade, from fifth to eight and from ninth to twelfth. The winner in the first group - nine-year-old Stefanka Gramatikova from Sofia impressed everyone with her eloquence and sharp mind when receiving the prize.
Gramatikova's game, called "colorful zoo" challenges the children to think logically while walking them through the colorful animal world. The player passes tests at three levels, learning about the animals, their eating habits, habitat and some curious facts.
The little girl's creation is even more admirable, considering that she is raised by a single mother, who barely manages to support her daughter, but doesn't fail to see her talent.
