Bird Flu Kills Man in Thailand

Thailand's human loss to bird flu has increased with yet another death this week. The 48-year-old-man was Thailand's first human victim of the virus in a year, reports say. In Europe, the disease has already affected birds in Turkey and Romania. There are fears of outbreaks in Greece, Macedonia and the European part of Russia as well. Bulgaria, is seen as a much likely spot of the next outbreak, and has set up crisis headquarters to try prevent the contamination. Nevertheless, local experts admit that the outbreak is almost unavoidable.
