The former ministers from the Government of Prime Minister Ivan Kostov invited in Parliament the current Government to a public discussion on the “White Book.”

The White Book, published by the Cabinet of Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg, is not legitimate, a 64 pages document reads, written as a response to the White Book by the former Cabinet. On December 5, the Cabinet published the White Book on the activities of the government of Prime Minister Ivan Kostov in order to reveal what it has inherited.

"We insist that all claims in the “White book” that imply violations to be filed in Court," the former ministers write. According to the former government, the White Book is not legitimate since it is not approved by the Cabinet with an Act by the Cabinet. “Our conclusion is that the White Book cannot be an account for the situation in which the new rulers stepped into power, ” the document reads.

The reasons for that are that the White Book does not give full information, the conclusions do not analyze the conducted politics, does not consider the strategic documents, the legislative changes and the realized reforms in accordance with the European norms.

“ Instead of serious administrative analyses, facts and responsibly made conclusions we see accusations primarily take from the media,” the document reads. “In the same resolute spirit, with which we took the responsibility for the governance of Bulgaria during one of its hardest periods, we take the responsibility for everything that we have done. The important and strategically important for Bulgaria is that we did not made mistakes. We are proud of the progress achieved by Bulgaria during our governance, “ the document continues. It analyzes the specific sections of the White Book. The document is published on the Internet web site of the Union of the Democratic Forces www.sds.bg.

Former Prime Minister Ivan Kostov is ready to discuss with Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg the two documents, it emerged after a press conference on the publication of the answer to the "White Book." Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg told journalists that there will be a debate on the "White Book."
