A unique gold treasure of more than 15,000 pieces was put on display in Sofia Wednesday.

The National History Museum is showing the large set, which has been dated back to the III c. B.C.

Young Bulgarian archaeologist Martin Hristov uncovered the ancient gold near the village of Dubene, central Bulgaria.

The gold jewellery and garment decorations are extremely fine, experts commented.
