Ivan Slavkov will appeal his ousting from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Bulgarian official announced Monday.
The case will be referred to the Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport, Slavkov has said, cited by Bulgarian media.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) expelled Bulgarian Ivan Slavkov in the wake of the BBC "Buying the games" documentary on Thursday 7 July. 82 members voted in favour of kicking Slavkov out of the elite club, barring him from being chairman of the Bulgarian national Olympic committee.
