Thousands of rock music fans saw idols Deep Purple in Kavarna, during a live gig Thursday night.

The veterans surprised the Bulgarian fans by mixing one of their songs with a sample from "Vardar," a classic Bulgarian tune by Pancho Vladigerov.

Music lovers from seven countries flocked to seaside Kavarna for the show, media reported.

The 150 policemen who were overseeing the event did not encounter any law violations.
