Bulgarian Cinema Gets EUR 410,000 Boost

Bulgarian state is to grant BGN 825,000 (about EUR 410,000) for the realization of new film projects.

The sum will be shared out through competitions, according to information of the National Film Centre.

A total of BGN 500,000 will be allotted for feature films projects, another BGN 300,000 will go for funding documentaries, popular science and animation films.

Another sum of BGN 25,000 will aim to boost script writing projects.

The completions will take place on October 28 for feature films, November 18 for documentary, popular science and animation films, and December 9 for script writing projects.

The participants should register not later than respectively September 12, September 21 and November 8.
