Four young Bulgarian tennis players from the Black Sea Elite tennis club will take part in this year's European club tournament.

We are all heading with ambitions for a European title, the coach of the club Ognyan Iliev said. We were ranked fifth at out first participation in this tournament and back in 2004 we were third, Iliev pointed out.

Sesil Karatantcheva, Tsvetana Pironkova, Maria Penkova and Virginia Trifonova are the four tennis players that will compete for the European title.

The tournament will take place June 29 to July 2 in France and will be participated by 13 teams. The main rival of the Bulgarians will be the team of the hosts, which will defend its title from the last year.

After the French tournament Sesil Karatantcheva, Pironkova and Penkova will leave for Tokyo where they will face Japan's team in a crucial Fed Cup match.
