Sports | June 24, 2005, Friday // 00:00

The rival of Bulgaria's football champion CSKA in the Champions League will be the winner of the match between NK Gorica Slovenia and KF Tirana Albania.

That was decided Friday at the draws held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. Twenty-four clubs will be involved in the first qualifying round draw - including holders Liverpool FC who were given special dispensation to enter the competition despite finishing fifth in the English Premiership in the 2004/05 campaign.

The first qualifying round will be played over two legs on 12/13 and 19/20 July, with the second qualifying round following on 26/27 July and 2/3 August. The draw for the third qualifying round will be made in Nyon on July 29. The final will be played on May 17 2006 at the Stade de France in Paris.
