Cambodia Crisis Ends, One Student Dead

Police have ended the hostage crisis at an international school in north-western Cambodia, after gunmen seized dozens of children. All of the gunmen were captured, but one young girl died during the operation, according to witnesses. All other children, aged between two and six, and from countries including the UK, US and in Asia, were released. On Thursday the hostage-takers seized two kindergarten classes and a number of teachers, demanding USD 1,000, weapons and a car.
