IBKOL EYES BURGAS AIRPORT

The German company Ibkol is interested in the airport in the Black Sea town of Burgas, which is the largest Bulgarian sea port. Ibkol is one of the bidders for the privatisation of the only state airline - Hemus Air. The German company intends to bid for a 15-year concession and has already drafted business plan for the construction of terminals and warehouses. There is a bidder for the airport in the second largest Bulgarian Black Sea port - Varna. The UK Ungins targets transferring the airport into an international one. Ungins counts on the increase of cargo flights and charters through Varna airport.
