It is necessary to challenge the rigid academic tradition by introducing new visions and languages closer to contemporary artistic practice, renowned Italian architect and designer Alessandro Guerriero said to Sofia audience.
Italian furniture design is among the new things Bulgarian public can see at this year's Italian Festival running in the two largest cities Sofia and Plovdiv. Furniture design is one more example of the Best of Italy, said Giovanni Sacchi, Director of the Bureau in Sofia of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade.
Alessandro Guerriero has presented a special seminar dedicated to the Italian furniture design with a different way of representation of Italian furniture - a tour in the shops of NIDO, SENZA and VERSUS based in Bulgarian capital city.
