AGREEMENT WITH IMF REACHED

The Bulgarian Government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reached an agreement. The agreement is for two years and is for USD 300 M, Finance Minister Velchev announced in Parliament on December 14. The agreement is expected to be signed in February when the next meeting of the IMF Board of Directors will take place.According to Finance Minister Velchev, the agreement with IMF will guarantee the conditions for steady growth for the coming two years and will create conditions for strengthening the macroeconomic stability in the country.
