1,800 Croatians to Attend Bulgarian Qualifier

Sports | June 2, 2005, Thursday // 00:00

Almost 2,000 Croatian football fans will watch live the World Cup qualifier with Bulgaria this weekend, media said

The encounter will take place at Sofia's Vassil Levski Stadium on June 4.

Hristo Stoitchkov, the coach of the Bulgarian side, still has not named the players that will take part in the match, but is expected to do so on Friday.

His side was drawn by Hungary in its previous qualifying match, held March 30, after suffering 0-3 to Sweden on March 27. That has left the Bulgarians with a scarce chance of qualifying for the World Cup.
