World Chess Queen Antoaneta Stefanova may see herself forced to leave Bulgaria in search of other countries' sponsoring organisations.

In the words of an officer from Bulgarian Chess Federation as quoted by Bulgarian News Agency, the federation has failed to secure whatsoever finances for training the young talent of Bulgaria.

Antoaneta Stefanova has had plans to participate in the European Male Chess Tournament to take place in Warsaw June 17, but is deprived of personal coach for five months now.

Several foreign chess organisations have been keen to have Stefanova in their team, the same anonymous source has said.

Antoaneta Stefanova, 25, became World Chess Championship in Russia last year. She is the first Bulgarian woman to win the finals.
