Some 40,000 pupils from 72 schools in Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second largest city, have written down simultaneously a slogan dedicated to their homeland in a bid to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.

"Plovdiv for us and we for Plovdiv" reads the motto under which the kids of Plovdiv hope to outstand for the book of records in the category Teamwork.

The latest entry of the kind was recorded in 1999 when a total of 31,336 students of Stevens Point, US state of Wisconsin, signed up at the same time under the wording "Beautiful America."
