Bulgarian haute couture and prкt-a-porter designers as well as fashion models will be officially presented in Paris next month, it emerged this week.
The fashion shows will be part of the Meeting Bulgaria initiative, held under the aegis of French President Jacques Chirac.
On June 2 and 3, the French capital will host a unique fashion spectacle at the atelier of art icon Pablo Picasso. The event will feature Bulgarian designers and catwalk divas under the sounds of Bulgarian music.
The casting for selecting the beauties that will participate took place in Sofia on Saturday. Aspirants had to be at least 1.76m tall and able to walk with great elegance.
Models from a number of leading Bulgarian agencies, including X-Ground, High Level, Ivet Fashion and J Models, vied for the Paris gala.
