Sofia citizens will be able to see a special ring, which once belonged to the great Russian Basso Feodor Chaliapin.

Many believe that the ring used to bring luck to his owner during the numerous concerts he staged all over the world.

Chaliapin (1873-1938) presented once the ring to the Bulgarian opera singer Ilka Popova.

The precious jewel was displayed Friday in the Gallery of the Bulgarian Economic and Investment Bank (EIBank) to mark the100th anniversary since Popova's birth. The ring is displayed for the first time, being safe-kept by the Bulgarian music critic Marin Bonchev.
