ENERGY AGENCY HEAD: ELECTRICITY PRICES WON’T GO UP IN THE NEAR FUTURE

There will not be an increase in the electricity and heating prices in the next three months, Milko Kovachev, Chairman of the Bulgarian State Agency for Energy and Energy Resources said after a meeting with the officials from the International Monetary Fund mission to Bulgaria. On December 10th asked whether the revoked Cabinet’s decision for higher electricity and heating prices will influence the negotiations, IMF mission to Bulgaria leader Schiff responded that electricity price should go up so that at least the production expenditures are covered.
