BULGARIA ALSO MARKED THREE MONTHS FROM SEPTEMBER 11 ASSAULTS

Three months from the September 11 terrorist assaults in New York were marked on December 11 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia with a brief public ceremony. The ceremony was held as a response to the call of the American President Bush to honor the memmory of the victims from the September 11 events exactly at 8.46 am EST when the two airplanes crashed in the World Trade Center buildings three month ago. пїЅPreventing any future repetition of the September 11th events will be the best commemoration of the victims,пїЅ Bulgarian Parliament speaker Ognyan Gerdzikov said at a the ceremony. A minute of silence was observed to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks. Bulgarian President Stoyanov, Chief of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Stoyan Ganev, US Ambassdor Miles, Patriarch Maksim and representatives of diplomatic missions in Bulgaria attended the ceremony.
