The fifth International Gentlemen's Dinner takes place in the Preslav Restaurant of the Sheraton on December 11. This slightly seclusive company gathers about every two months. Sheraton manager Stephan Sieberg, travel mogul Mark Thomas, banker Kees de Jong as well as some senior diplomats are among the regulars. The participants claim only to discuss "cars, women and football", as an insider put it. In reality, however, first-hand information on business and politics is being exchanged. Exactly the latter adds the spice to these dinners. The initiative for the International Gentlemen's Dinner was taken some year ago by Mr. Sieberg. Attending the dinner is possible upon invitation only.
