The number of deaths in the Irbil bomb attack has topped 50, world media reported Wednesday. The suicide attack on the northern Iraqi city reportedly targeted a group of young men seeking jobs at the police. The bomber pretended to be a volunteer and mingled with the other men before setting off explosives, officials have said. The bombing comes a day after the new Iraqi government was
sworn in, with a number of ministries yet to be named. The number of attacks by Iraq insurgents has sharply increased over the last several weeks.
