CONSULTANT TO ADVISE CABINET ON GAS MARKET LIBERALIZATION

The Energy Agency considers a tender for an international consultant to the government on the planned liberalization of the market as of 2002, Dnevnik Daily reported. The consultant will be required to complete the study of Bulgaria’s market in six months. The study will cost about EUR 500,000 that will be released under the European Union PHARE program or from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Several consultants have shown interest in the tender, including UK’s leading gas and oil market analysts Wood Mackenzie.
