A commuters train hit a truck and derailed in Japan, no victims were reported, world media announced. The incident took place just a day after Monday's deadly crash when 73 people were killed and 442 were injured after a packed West Japan Railway Co. commuter train derailed in the city of Amagasaki, a suburb of Osaka and slammed into a nine-story condominium. Suggestions that excessive speed was the cause were being investigated by JR West and the Japanese Government. The company said the train driver was a 23-year-old man with 11 months' experience. The driver remained trapped in the wreckage throughout the day as hopes for his survival faded.
