Sofia Reopens N Korean Embassy

Bulgarian government has decided to reopen its diplomatic mission in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. The embassy, which has been closed since March 1997, will be headed by an acting ambassador plenipotentiary, the governmental press office announced on Thursday. The decision comes in line with the diplomatic politics of Sofia directed towards boost of Bulgarian contacts with the region of East Asia.
