German police have freed the four schoolgirls that were seized hostages earlier on Tuesday. The teenagers were held by an Iranian man for four hours. The attacker snatched the victims after seizing a bus filled with schoolchildren in Ennepetal, and pulled them into the cellar of a nearby house. The 50-year-old Iranian, armed with a kitchen knife, reportedly said he wanted to make the German authorities let his family join him.
