Bulgarian shooter Maria Grozdeva, double medallist of Athens 2004, with a bronze at 10m and a gold at 25m of air pistol, performed perfectly at the Korea tournament for the World Cup setting a new world record with her 796,7 points.
Grozdeva was victorious at the 25m pistol thus securing herself a quota for the 2008 Olympic Games.
The Bulgarian shooter entered the finals third with 591 points, but managed to achieve a result of 205,7 points thus increasing her active to 796,7 points and setting new national and world record.
The other two Bulgarians Diana Iorgova and Monica Kostova failed to qualify for the finals. Iorgova finished 19th with 572 points and Kostova is 22nd with 566 points.
