The condition of Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged US woman now left without her artificial life support, has weakened, it was revealed Tuesday. According to her husband's lawyer, Terri's eyes are sunken, her breathing has quickened and she has stopped urinating - a sign of kidney failure and an overload of toxins. Schiavo's feeding tube was removed eleven days ago, after husband Michael won a legal battle against the parents. It is believed that the patient could live for up to two weeks without food. Terri Schiavo has been kept alive by artificial means since she suffered severe brain damage when her heart stopped briefly in 1990. Her husband has been insisting that Terri did not want to be kept alive artificially, while the parents were fighting to keep her alive.
