Bulgarian clarinet star Ivo Papazov received the special Bulgarian Music Mission Award less than a month after the BBC Radio 3 granted him the World Music Audience Award.

With eyes wet with bulging tears the "King of Wedding Music" expressed his gratitude to the country that make him feel proud he is Bulgarian.

The audience of BG Radio has voted legendary rock band BTR as band of the year. The debut award went to Deo, a charming TV host, who have recently made his first steps into the world of music and cinema.

The 19-year-old musical talent Miro Gechev swept the composer award.

Unlike last year, young singer Grafa saw the end of the ceremony without award, though he was nominated in record five categories.

Rushi Vidinliev and Nina Nikolina emerged winners for male and female singers in the voting of BG Radio audience.
