After hosting the online poll of Player of 90s, the leading sports network Eurosport seems ignorant of the simple fact that the winner Hristo Stoitchkov has been also on the helm of Bulgarian national team for nearly a year now.
Eurosport's online section dedicated to each country in the eight groups of World 2006 qualifiers features Plamen Markov as the coach of Bulgarian team, founded in 1923.
Plamen Markov quit the position last summer after the fiasco of Bulgaria at EURO 2004. He was succeeded by the football legend Hristo Stoitchkov who has no defeat with the national team since then.
Eurosport plans to award Hristo Stoitchkov Player of 1990s on Friday in Sofia, Bulgarian media reported.
