The Swedish football team's experienced spy Thomas Lyth has warned his side of the Bulgarians regaining strength under the flag of legend Hristo Stoitchkov.

During a special press conference, Lyth advised the Swedes not to underestimate their rivals because of past victories over them.

The Bulgarian squad has a brand new face with Hristo Stoitchkov on the coaching job, Lyth was cited as saying.

This weekend, the two teams face each other in their most important World Cup qualifier. Tickets for the Sofia match were sold out in just two days, and even the prime minister and other members of the Bulgarian Cabinet are expected to take seats at the stadium and show support for the players.

Bulgaria will have to face the tough rival without four key players - captain Stilian Petrov (Celtic) teenage prodigy Valeri Bojinov (Fiorentina), and Wolfsburg's defender Marian Hristov and speedy forward Martin Petrov.

Veteran Daniel Borimirov and Levski legends Georgi Ivanov and Alexander Alexandrov have been enlisted to the full side for the first time in several years.

We need to prepare for surprises from unpredictable Stoitchkov, according to Lyth as cited by Bulgarian press.
