23 Survivors, 29 Killed in Russian Plane Crash

Twenty-three people have been rescued from the crashed AN-24, which was brought on fire while landing on a northern area of Russia. According to information from Russia's Emergency Ministry, there were 29 casualties out of 45 passengers and 4-member crew. The plane flagged by "Regional Airlines" was carrying workers from a local LukOil processing plant when it tried to land on emergency in the northern Yamalo-Nenetski district but hit one of its wings to the ground and broke into fire.
