Bulgaria's Eurovision bid "Lorrain" has similar music to another Bulgarian hit, recorded back in 2001, TV broadcast "Gospodari na efira" revealed in its latest show.

Kaffe's Lorrain sounded much like Ruslan Mainov's "Don't go," the authors of the show claim.

Kaffe's vocalist Orlin pointed out that they were not aware of the similarity, saying it was only in the songs' refrains. "But it is by no means plagiarism," the vocalist underlined.

"Gospodari na efira" cited renowned Bulgarian experts who claimed that the two song were much alike. They also predicted that that might trigger another scandal over Bulgaria's first ever bid at the major Eurovision contest.

Ruslan Mainov's song was produced by the musical company of Kaffe's main opponent at the Bulgarian Eurovision contest- Slavi Trifonov.

Bulgaria's first ever participation at the Eurovision song festival is gaining more and more scandalous history.

The scandal first began after second-placed Slavi Trifonov in a duet with Roma music icon Sofi Marinova refused to stage a performance in what he called a "predetermined contest" for Bulgaria's Eurovision bid. They accused the winner, famed band Kaffe, of rigging and buying the vote. Kaffe garnered a crushing advance of teleaudience support with more than 50% of all 152,000 votes submitted by SMS or fixed phone calls.

It was then revealed that Trifonov had allegedly addressed with threats the manager of winning band Kaffe.
