The world-famous tenor Jose Carreras is to arrive to Bulgaria in May, Balkan Entertainment Company officials announced.
The great tenor, who will stage in the National Palace of Sofia on May 28, has promised to present his greatest hits.
Carreras is also known for being one of the biggest fans of the Bulgarian football star Hristo Stoitchkov, at present the national football team coach.
Stoitchkov, for whom Carreras sang at his farewell match in Barcelona, has received a special invitation for the concert.
All the tickets for the concert will be signed by the opera star, the organizers promised.
