Bulgarians once again started queuing up for lottery cards as the local lotto jackpot of over BGN 4 M survived on Thursday night.
Some lotto maniacs even staked over BGN 1,000 on their lotto tickets, Bulgarian media reported.
People were using different tactics and were calculating their chances of winning the jackpot.
IN August 2004 the jackpot reached BGN 5.4 M and was swept by one lucky ticket.
The country's largest sum earlier accumulated was three million, achieved in 1999, while the biggest jackpot won so far was in 2001 when the "happy winner" swept BGN 2,83 M.
