Bulgaria issued Friday four special postmarks on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the local filmmaking.

One of the stamps depicts a theme from "Bulgarian is Gallant," Bulgaria's first ever feature film, while the other three are dedicated to international movie classics.

Different events on the occasion of the anniversary have been organized to take place throughout 2005, and hopefully to stimulate the Bulgarian filmmaking industry.

The campaign includes extra time dedicated to local films on the state Bulgarian National Television (BNT). The Bulgarian film industry will also be a special accent in this May's Euro Film Fest in Sofia.
