Bulgaria's state-run news agency BTA, the oldest media in the country, invited colleagues and friends to a party for its 107th birthday Wednesday.

The agency shared the gala with its lifestyle magazine Paraleli, launched 40 years ago.

Charming actress Paraskeva Dzhukelova hosted the celebration at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, while veteran music band Stari Mutsuni lifted guests' spirits with a live performance.

A large 3-G logo of the agency was installed at the site, and guests were invited to write their greetings directly on the unique statue.
