Teenager Stabs Three at Japanese School

A man carrying a knife burst into a public elementary school in western Japan on Monday and stabbed at least three adults, police said. One of the victims is said to have died, according to Kyodo News. The attacker was a 17-year-old who graduated from the elementary school, according to police officials. Noda said no students were hurt in the attack. A local education board spokesman, Yoshihige Nishikawa, said the injured were three teachers - two men and one woman. Two of them were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, he said.
