At least seventeen people have been killed and 16 wounded in a car bomb attack in the town of Musayyib, south of Baghdad. Police say the blast was not a suicide attack. Separately, prominent Iraqi judge Taha al-Basri, a former chief judge at Basra's highest criminal court, was gunned down on Saturday as he drove to work in the southern port city of Basra.
