A Bulgarian crew has launched an unprecedented yacht racing campaign for 2005, including participation in a number of major transoceanic challenges this year.

Organizers of Bora2005 have purchased a sporting vessel bearing the name Push The Tempo - and will rush it through St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, International Rolex Regatta, BVI Spring Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week in the Caribbean Basin.

That would be the first time for a single Bulgarian team to participate the races, taking place over March - April this year. Then Bora2005 will pass though the Panama Canal, Mexico, California. New Zealand will be the final destination for the Bulgarians.

Vassil Beyazov and Dimitar Dimitriev are the main organizers of the project, and four other yachting fans will join them in the adventure.

At a special press conference Friday, the participants said that Push The Tempo is 9.6 meters long, and has been created by New Zealand's Young Yacht Design and the Hart Marine in the UK.
