The Greek Embassy in Sofia commemorated the life and works of Bulgarian poet Stefan Gechev, who helped to bring closer to the Bulgarian audience the best in classic and modern Greek literature.

The event, co-organized by the recently set-up group "Friends of Stefan Gechev", marked the fifth anniversary since the death of the poet. A special album, featuring his poems in Greek and archive materials to illustrate his life, a photo exhibition and a documentary film about him were also presented.

The publishing of the biographical album was sponsored by Intralot, leading supplier of integrated gaming and transaction processing systems, game designs and services to state-licensed gaming organizations and financial services providers worldwide.

The company has 29 subsidiaries, seven business offices and some 1,500 employees working in 26 countries and revenues of EUR 320 M. It ranks third in revenues and second in profits among lottery suppliers worldwide.
