The two Bulgarian climbers conquered the highest summit in South America and outside Asia.
Lyubomir Ivanov and Doychin Vassilev topped Aconcagua (6962m/22835ft), which lies on the border between Argentina and Chile. The alpinists also topped the 1111m Zograph Peak on the Antarctic island of Livingston, the 604m Mizia peak in the northern part of the Livingston Island, that has not been conquered by a man so far.
The expedition also studied the routes to Lyaskovets Peak and Falsa Aguja Peak.
The expedition started in mid-November 2004 and its log features the exploration of geographic sites and scaling of summits in the Tangra mountain on Livingston island.
