A canvass and the diary of legendary Mexican surrealist Frida Kahlo and three graphics of her beloved Diego Rivera debuted in Sofia's Gallery for Foreign Art.

The exhibition to be on display from January 29 till February 28 is part of a tour of Frida's works around Europe and the US launched this year in commemoration of fiftieth anniversary since her death.

Little known beyond the art world until about ten years ago, Kahlo has in recent years become a cult icon. She has been the subject of at least three popular documentaries and one feature film.
