Bulgarian circus group Ignatovi received the Silver Clown award at the 29th Monte Carlo International Circus Festival.
The international jury chaired by Monaco Prince Rainier III had to pick the winners from 22 different shows.
The Bulgarian circus artists swept the third place after presenting their show "Acrobatics on Horseback." It involves a combination of hard acrobatic tricks on racing horses and no other circus group is able to resent it at present.
The festival was first launched in 1974 by Monaco Prince Rainier III and is the biggest and most prominent festival for circus art.
Bulgaria's circus art has been widely recognized as extremely professional over the years as Bulgarian circus groups have won the Golden Clown once and has already taken eight Silver Clowns.
