N Korean Ship Sinks in Aegean, Two Killed

Two sailors have drowned and seven are missing after a North Korean-flagged freighter sank off the north Aegean island of Chios early on Monday. According to Greek coastguard authorities, the shipwreck of Lady-O was caused by strong winds and heavy seas. Greek and Turkish helicopters are searching for the missing seamen, a Greek coastguard spokeswoman said. However, she denied to disclose the nationality of the drowned or that of the missing sailors. According to uncofirmed media reports, the seamen were from Egypt, Syria and Lebanon.
