Germany's metal band Destruction shattered Sofia Monday night with their extreme heavy metal sounds.

Called "Knights of Demon" the Germans are emblematic for the overall history of trash metal, which have staged against commercial trends in the heavy metal style since early 80s.

Their first album "Sentence of Death" is eloquent of the band's claims and soon afterwards, in 1985, the group sees its real triumph - a European tour and the second trash set "Infernal Overkill" still considered Destruction's classics.
