British singer Sting, 53, plans to hold a tsunami charity concert on Feb. 10 at the Leeuwin Estate in Perth, Australia to raise cash for survivors.

The outdoor concert in the renowned Margaret River wine producing region will aim to raise more than USD 760,000 the for tsunami survivors, with organizers and support staff all donating their wages and bar takings to relief funds.

The majority of the money raised will be directed to UNICEF, for whom Sting's wife Trudy is a goodwill ambassador.

Meanwhile singer Cliff Richard, pop star Boy George and other music stars announced they plan to release a song, "Grief Never Grows Old", written by radio DJ Mike Read.

Managers at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, say they are planning a charity concert and hope to raise more than USD1.80 M. Possible date is Jan. 22-23.
